Laura Shrum is a recent graduate of Duquesne University. Laura explains her thoughts on her career selection: "I chose the profession of pharmacy because I wanted to be directly involved in the health care of my patients. Patients rely on a pharmacist for information and they want a pharmacist who is educated, trustworthy, compassionate and is able to guide them through their health related needs.
